Tiger Airways took to the skies from Singapore in September 2004 with two aircraft in its fleet and three routes in its network. Within four years of operation, Tiger Airways operates from its Singapore and Melbourne bases, with a third base in Adelaide to commence operations in early 2009. Tiger Airways now flies to more than 25 destinations across 9 countries in Asia and Australia on a fleet of brand new Airbus A320 aircraft.
